So, I just learned about feedback in my class this week. What is feedback? feedback is the opinion about us that is given by people, usually talking about our behavior. It should consist of something that could help us to improve, if it doesn’t it’s not feedback but judging someone. Let me share my experience of receiving and responding to feedback.

My friends and parents always told me that I don’t have any courage to talk to someone, share my opinion in a group, or even ask a question in class. They told me that I must have the courage to speak up because humans are social creatures and never assume that they will judge our opinions. It’s okay if our opinion is wrong according to them, the most important thing is that we have conveyed what we think.

At that time I still could not accept the advice given because I thought that it was very difficult to change my habits, and I was really afraid of other people. But as I got older I started to think what they said would help me in life, and since then I started to get up the courage to talk little by little to other people, express opinions in groups, and ask questions in class so as not to get lost alone XD. But to have this I have to continue to practice my speaking skills to be better in the future.
